Patagonian International Marathon® is a Running event that takes place in the Chilean Patagonia, Province of Última Esperanza, in the surroundings of Torres del Paine National Park. Since 2012, the event has attracted thousands of runners from more than 50 countries, who converge to the southern tip of Patagonia to fulfill the dream of running in one of the most pristine places on the planet!
The sixth edition of Patagonian International Marathon® will take place on Saturday September 8, 2018 and will maintain the classic distances of 42 , 21 and 10Km . The goal for all distances will be located in the spectacular Hotel Río Serrano (#TheAmazingFinishLine). Like the last edition, in 2018 the race route will be located towards the south of the majestic Torres del Paine National Park. The magic of running in Patagonia, along with runners from around the world and the adventure of facing a restless and sometimes hostile climate will continue to be the essence of the event.
Geographically, the event takes place in the extreme south of the American continent, at 51 ° south latitude, in a privileged location of Western Patagonia, east of the Great Southern Ice Field and south of Torres del Paine National Park. The closest city to the area of the event is Puerto Natales, located 250 km north of the regional capital that is Punta Arenas.
