What is Phukethon
Phukethon is Asia's major international marathon festival, that welcome all runners from around the world in term of sport tourism. At Phukethon, there will be variety kinds of festival activities, there will be international marathon running distances 42.195 km, 21.1 km, 10 km, which the courses are certified by International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). On top of that, there will also be the Runtainment program; such as Jelly Beach Run 5 km, and Fun Run - Color Fun Run, and Running Expo with more than 80 international sports brands, all gathered together in Saphan Hin Park, a seaside park with a long history and a symbol of Phuket Island.
Phukethon has designed the ultimate running route that are challenge for runners who want to experience nature and challenge your limit to explore the most beautiful view in the running paradise island Phuket by running up hill from Rawai beach to "Promthep Cape" with the height of 200 meters above sea level is considered to be the highlight.
Phukethon is an innovative tourism run event, by using mass participation sport to create the great dimension of the event in Phuket Island. Phukethon welcomes all local runners, runners from 14 southern provinces, Thai runners across the country and international runners from all over the world. They will join the force and create a new page of history in Thailand and represents a new dimension of a sustainable world class tourism location in the world of Phuket Island.
