competition rules

1. King’s college Half Marathon 2023 event organizes the competition according to the rules Based on the International Athletics Federation (IAAF) road running rules.
2. Runners must wear a running identification number in front of their chest area. can be seen clearly In the event that the runner's identification number cannot be seen due to any reason, such as attaching the wrong running number to the age group or other reasons which makes it impossible to determine whether the said runner is competing in any category or age group The organizer reserves the right to award prizes in all cases.
3. In case of failing to check point The result of the race will be either DQ or Disqualify, meaning the runner does not complete the track. and will be disqualified from receiving coins 3.1 Gun Time is the official match time. It is assumed that all runners start at the same time at the moment the start signal starts. 3.2 Chip Time is personal time. By starting a timer when the runner has passed the actual starting point until the finish line.
4. Cut-off Time is to cut the runners from the gun time to open the area. and traffic along the race route The cut-off times are as follows: 21 km Cut-off time: 4.00 hrs, 10 km Cut-off time: 2.00 hrs. 5 km Cut-off time: 1.00 Hr.
5. King’s college Half Marathon 2023 event will be released at the time announced. However, if there is any safety incident on the running route, the cut-off time will be counted from the moment it starts.
6. Prize money and award plaques will be determined based on the results of Gun Time recorded in the timing chip system only, which will be given to runners who have applied correctly according to the rules. And stick to the running number (BIB) that is obvious and complete the check point
7. The event team reserves the right to refrain from awarding prizes, plaques in the event that the runner's name and running number (BIB) attached are not the same person.
